Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How can I compare auto insurance quotes?

A: Getting a car insurance quote is easier than you might think. You can start online, give our office a call, or stop by to talk through your options. We'll help walk you through coverage choices and help you find something that fits your needs. Stepphone, your local State Farm agent in Louisville, KY, is here to help.

Q: How fast can I get car insurance?

A: In some cases, car insurance coverage can begin the same day you purchase a policy. The timing may vary depending on your situation. We can help you get coverage quickly when you need it. Connect with Stepphone for insurance guidance in Louisville.

Q: What kind of insurance do I need for a leased vehicle?

A: Leased vehicles typically require more coverage than the state minimums. In addition to liability insurance, leasing companies usually require comprehensive and collision coverage, and you may need to list the leasing company on your policy as an additional insured or loss payee. In Louisville, you can count on Stepphone for personalized service.

Q: What is renters insurance?

A: Renters insurance is a simple way to help protect your personal belongings and provide liability coverage while you're renting. Since your landlord's policy typically covers the building itself, this type of coverage is designed to help protect you and the things you own. Stepphone is here to help your Louisville household feel covered.

Q: What does home insurance cover?

A: Homeowners insurance can help protect your home, your personal belongings, and your finances. It typically includes coverage for the structure of your home, your belongings, liability protection, and additional living expenses if your home becomes uninhabitable due to a covered loss. Looking for coverage? Talk with Stepphone about your options in Louisville.

Q: How does life insurance work at a basic level?

A: Life insurance is a way to help take care of the people you love financially. It can provide support to your beneficiaries to help cover things like everyday expenses, debts, or future needs, depending on the coverage you choose. Stepphone is proud to serve the Louisville community.
