"Our long time, State Farm agent retired early this year and we were reassigned with a new agent. Our new agent, Stepphone Mack called to introduce himself and made himself available to discuss our policy to make sure we were getting the best policy for our needs. Our home suffered from the torrential rainfall that we had in April of this year causing serious flooding in our basement. We had lost our flood insurance years ago due to having too many claims for flooding. Our new agent told us about FEMA. We never thought in a million years that we would qualify for FEMA’S flood assistance. He walked us through the steps and encouraged us to apply. We began the application process and submitted our claim. To our delight and surprise less than 8 weeks after applying we received two checks from FEMA and was able to use the money to get our basement waterproofed. Mr. Mack was kind, resourceful, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. This agent in our opinion was truly living up to the State Farm slogan “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there”.
